SigEp was founded in Richmond, VA, in 1901 with the promise that "this fraternity will be different". Today, we continue to raise the bar on what it can mean to be in a fraternity. 

 

We do not pledge or haze-once a member joins, he is a brother with full rights and responsibilities. Our Balanced Man Program and Sounf Mind, Sound Body philosophy provide opportunities for personal, professional and academic development. 

 

Our national and chapter philanthropy is Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to "create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth."
